 

The mission of Shoreline Behavioral Health Services
(SBHS) is to reduce the negative health, social, and
economic consequences resulting from the use of alcohol
and other drugs. Through a variety of primary prevention,
intervention and treatment services, the SBHS works with
the South Carolina Department of Alcohol and Other Drug
Abuse Services (DAODAS), and numerous local individuals, agencies and organizations, in an attempt to
reduce and control problems related to the use of alcohol
and other drugs.
The goal of the agency is to provide
affordable and accessible quality services to the general
public and to special and high-risk populations in an
effort to create a safer and healthier environment for
all citizens of Horry County.

The vision of SBHS is to foster the
development of human potential, self esteem, dignity and
responsibility to enable the individual, family and

free from the influences of alcohol and other drugs.
Fees are based on services received. A
variety of payment plans are available including MasterCard, Visa, Medicaid/Medicare, and most insurance.
