The mission of Shoreline Behavioral Health Services is to address the problem of Alcohol and Substance abuse in Horry County by providing individualized recovery based treatment and community prevention services.
The goal of coordination is that the consumer experience is of a welcoming system that connects to community services and has a broad enough menu of assistance to accommodate multiple recovery pathways.

Shoreline Behavioral Health envisions a system of care in which many problems related to substance abuse and dependence in South Carolina are prevented through a combination of public education and early intervention with at-risk youth and families. For those who develop problems with substances, often with co-occurring physical and mental health issues, timely treatment services are readily available and the different providers involved coordinate care in concert with an array of community based, recovery oriented services. Fees are based on services received. A variety of payment plans are available including MasterCard, Visa, Medicaid/Medicare, and most insurance.
